F-Secure SAFE /Malware Bytes paid version
Hi I subscribe to both of the above to protect my Lenovo laptop but is that really a good idea, I wonder? It takes FOREVER to get the laptop started and I suspect that is due to the interminable scanning functions of these programs. My understanding is that split tunneling is used to overcome the reduction of speed due to use of VPN. I see no option in Freedome for that. What can I do if I have several tabs open in the browser and some of them i consider "safe" not to use VPN. Can I do something?

I have a small number of PC's with Freedome 2.42.736.0 One of them was updated yesterday and since then Freedome just keeps connecting. I see there are older closed threads on this which suggest to flush dns cache and reinstall. That sounds like beta level if a simple umpteenth update should still require that much effort.
