I found that if you use F-Secure SAFE and google drive for desktop on Windows. It would always scan the whole drive file. Because I did't storage my files offline, the scanner have to download more than 500GBs of files from the cloud and it takes a decade.

    Hi @chualex66

Welcome to our community page. Thank you for your post.

We have a feature to exclude apps/file from scanning on SAFE Windows version. Would you prefer to exclude the apps on SAFE?

Kindly follow these steps to exclude the apps/file from SAFE.

    1. Start F-Secure SAFE

    2. Open Viruses & Threats

    3. From Tools choose App and file control

    4. Grant permission to make changes

    5. Choose Excluded

    6. Click Add new to add a new excluded application or file

    7. Find and choose the file from the Exclude from scanning -windows

    8. Click OK

The file or application that you chose has now been excluded from scanning.

Kindly let me know if this helps.

    Thank you and stay safe.
