How to use F-Secure Total Security on Windows

The Story of How I Changed My F-Secure Account Username
I had been using the same F-Secure account username for years. It was an old email address that I no longer used. I decided that it was time to change it to something more current.
I logged into My F-Secure and clicked on "Account settings" in the top-right corner. In the "Your F-Secure email address" field, I entered my new email address and clicked on "Save changes."
A few seconds later, I received an email from F-Secure confirming that my account username had been changed. I was so excited! I had finally updated my account username to something that I actually used.
I logged out of My F-Secure and logged back in using my new account username. It worked! I was so happy that I had finally changed my account username.
If you're thinking about changing your F-Secure account username, It's a quick and easy process, and it will make your life so much easier.
Here are the steps on how to change your F-Secure account username:
- Log in to My F-Secure.
- Click on "Account settings" in the top-right corner.
- In the "Your F-Secure email address" field, enter your new email address.
- Click on "Save changes."
Your account username will be changed immediately. From now on, use your new email address when logging in to your account.

If you are experiencing issues with a banking website being blocked or not displaying correctly when banking protection is activated, here are a few things you can try:
- Try accessing the website through another browser. This will help to rule out any issues with your browser or its settings.
- Clear your browsing history, cache, and cookies. This can sometimes help to resolve issues with website loading or display.
- Disable your browser extensions. Some extensions can interfere with banking websites.
- Contact your bank. If you have tried all of the above and are still having problems, contact your bank for assistance. They may be able to provide you with additional information or help you troubleshoot the issue.

F-Secure SAFE / F-Secure TOTAL / ID PROTECTION does not use any subscription or activation codes when you have purchased or renew the subscription via the F-Secure online store.
When purchasing or renewing an F-Secure SAFE / TOTAL / ID PROTECTION subscription, you will be directed to create a My F-Secure account (my.f-secure.com) from which you can install the product to your devices.

Here are some things I can do if I did not receive a password reset email from My F-Secure:
- Check my spam folder. Sometimes, password reset emails can end up in the spam folder. Check my spam folder and see if the email is there.
- Make sure I'm using the correct email address. Go to the My F-Secure website and try to log in with my email address. If not able to log in, then probably I'm using the wrong email address.
- Try again later. Sometimes, there are delays in sending password reset emails. Try again later and see if I receive the email.
- Ask in the F-Secure Community. If I have already tried all the suggestions mentioned above and still haven't received the password reset email, the F-Secure Community will be my next step.

✨Make sure that your email inbox is not full. If your inbox is full, you will not be able to receive any new emails, including the password reset email.

The issue with the S-mobiili app not being accessible when the VPN is turned on has been resolved. Please note that this issue is not specific to F-Secure products, however, it can affect other VPN providers as well.
If a user is unable to use the bank app, a possible workaround is to temporarily disable the VPN feature in F-Secure Total.
