Poor threat protection to poor support options

I mean, I thought you would still be using proper support ticketing by emails and here we are enclosing to 'Community' stupidity.

No wonder we don't get nothing out of this.

Also, who uses protection without option to scan folder or right click to scan. I don't see it, it's pretty useless protection if you ask me,

This is by far prone for disliking to have only 'community' based inquiry when chat is not up and when you what you looking for is not there, at all. It like Firefox based community, where everyone hates to be publicized to all.

That is not good at all, and who does that? I guess only stupid people in hierarchy, this is definitely failed GPDR regulations, when I didn't asked to be exposed that much to the community.

    Hello @Alti1981

Welcome to the F-Secure Community. Thank you for your post.

We kindly request that you refrain from using offensive language within our community. Mutual respect is crucial here, and we do not tolerate disrespectful behavior. Please be aware that we do not disclose personal identification information on this community page, and we are committed to strictly adhering to GDPR rules.

We understand your frustration regarding support access. To ensure prompt communication, we do not offer email support. However, in addition to this community, where users can interact with each other about F-Secure products, we provide 24/7 chat support and phone support. You can find more information in this link: https://www.f-secure.com/en/support/contact

Also, who uses protection without option to scan folder or right click to scan. I don't see it, it's pretty useless protection if you ask me,

Could you please provide us with a bit more information? Specifically, we'd like to know which version of F-Secure Total you are currently using and which operating system version you have installed.

In my attempt to replicate this issue, I've found that the "Scan for viruses" option appears when right-clicking. To ensure you have the most up-to-date version, please make sure you've performed any available updates. You can find further details about F-Secure Total in this link: What's new in the F-Secure app - F-Secure Community

However, if you're referring to the F-Secure Beta product, there's a similar discussion about this issue. You might want to check out this link for a potential workaround: https://community.f-secure.com/en/discussion/127040/scan-button-on-right-click-menu-is-gone#latest

Thank you for reaching out, and we hope you have a wonderful day.

On Windows 11, before, it didn't show on 'Show more options'.

Right then, I uninstalled it and installed it again.

Windows 11 doesn't show on new right click 'Scan' option.

Then after the reinstall on 'Show more options' it is now visible.
