Multiple platforms (Windows, iOS, Android) & SAFE subscription
Hello,
I have purchased the F-Secure SAFE product on my Windows OS.
I installed SAFE to an iPhone, logged in with my account and got the device protected, but the app does not show anything other than the SAFE browser protection. I can't see the virus scanning I see on my Android/Windows products. Is this normal? I was hoping to use my subscription to protect the iOS device as well.
I saw in an earlier post that subscriptions purchased through the iOS App Store are usable to other iOS devices only. Is this the case even if the subscription is made with Windows?
Thanks!

Yes, this is normal. However, there may be a bit more functionality (with SAFE browser) and 'optionally' Parental Control set up.
So, about the 'scanning' feature, you could try reading the official KB article: How can I perform a virus scan in F-Secure SAFE on my iPhone or iPad? - F-Secure Community
There is also a general topic about: Do Macs, iPhones and iPads need antivirus? | F-Secure
Also, from time to time this subject is discussed in the Community. Some examples:
- Don't have a Virus Scan on my IPad, anybody please help me. — F-Secure Community
- Is it possible to scan iPhones for viruses, malware, trojans, rootkits and ransomware? — F-Secure Community
I saw in an earlier post that subscriptions purchased through the iOS App Store are usable to other iOS devices only. Is this the case even if the subscription is made with Windows?
Perhaps, not. If you use My F-Secure portal and can install on all other supported platforms, then your subscription is not tied to iOS-only. I also think that this mentioned AppStore-based subscription is more related (relates) to F-Secure Freedome solution.
Update: based on this KB article: Can I use F-Secure SAFE for an iOS subscription from App Store on my Windows computer? - F-Secure Community
it also can be with F-Secure SAFE.
Thanks!
