Renewing a Total subscription with fewer licenses
I want to change my five-license plan to three licenses. I can’t find any option to adjust the number of licenses anywhere. The quantity selector is disabled on the Subscription page and in the cart after clicking Renew now.
Is the only way to renew with fewer licenses by creating a completely new account?

I suggest you to contact directly to f-secure customer support for manual operation by admins.
I "lost my appetite" for a long time ago about administering the device licences as a self-service by my.f-secure.com,regardless of where the previous subscription period was purchased from(e.g. free choice 30 days before the end of the current one),even suggested the unlimited Total device substriction(up to 25 devices practically ) for consumer customers (Some security service providers have that option)

As JOnes mentioned, contact support. I went through the same thing about 6 months ago when I wanted to go from 5 to 3, just like you're wanting to do. In my case, I was close to the renewal time, and had 5 as the lowest number of devices, not 3 like I wanted. They worked it out on their end to enable 3 in the drop down options.
I can't remember if I needed to be close to the renewal date (day or two from the expiration?) to allow, see the drop down options or not. Anyway, don't mean to be rambling on, but yes, get a hold of support :)
