False positive with PrivaZer

here is the PrivaZer Team.

You have a false positive with our new release of PrivaZer.

See below.

    Already done this weekend.

    The problem is that it has not been fixed yet.

    Would f-secure be very pleased if an other software would trigger a warning that F-secure itself contains a virus ?

    Do you think that is normal that you flag other software and need so much time to fix the problem ?

    You are right, I've actually found 2 submits from this Saturday from 22:25 and 22:37.

    It's Monday today, so please lets give my colleagues from the Malware Department some more time 🙂

    1) We have hundreds of users complaining. That's urgent.

    2) Is there a way to whitelist PrivaZer globally ? With the signing certificate of our EXE files ?

    I'm glad you are happy and you may think that's not a problem to flag other software and threat them as trojan.

    WE ARE NOT happy.

    Do you have a whitelisting program for editors ?

    Can we have an access to an ftp server to submit our new release of PrivaZer ?

    No, however, it will be resolved automatically via the next F-Secure's Security Cloud update.

    SO we have to wait... Our users may think now that PrivaZer is a trojan.

    Do you think that's normal ? 😡

    How do you intend to indemnify us?

    I see our team is making some progress, and according to the last email, they are determined to find a lasting solution to this recurring issue and a ticket has been opened in that regard.     Can we submit our new releases of PrivaZer to one of your FTP server so that you can analyze it.

    Other antivirus companies offer this.

    This was exactly what my colleague requested for in the last email sent to you yesterday but as I just checked, there has been no reply yet from your team.

    Kindly reply through that channel if you require further assistance. Replying to them via the email ticket, I can assure you, guarantees faster resolution.
