    The "Accepted Answer" didn't solve the problem.

    New installation of ID Protection on a new laptop has the same issue. The is no anti virus or VPN software installed on the box yet.

    Since you have already performed the basic troubleshoot steps, but if you are still facing the sync data failed issue between devices, this is something we need to analyze the logfiles to find the root cause. We would suggests you to get a logfile from F-Secure ID protection and contact our support team for further investigation.
