F-Secure Internet Security prevents my kid from doing school homework

So, my kid needs to access ebban.fi to do homework. Essentially, read a book.

He wants to use his phone to do it, and it has F-Secure Internet Security installed, along with the Safe Browser.

What happens is, that when he selects the book he needs to read, the Safe Browser blocks this because of parentage settings, as it is labelled as 'scary'.

How can I whitelist the ebban.fi site and all it's content, in books, to be not analyzed by the tool that F-Secure provides to safeguard from harmful content?

    Hello,

Perhaps your situation is closed to this one:

How do I unblock a website on my child's phone?

I tried to suggest this feature request idea:

[Parental Control, Android] web-managed list of allowed/denied websites. Content Blocker exclusions.

because it can be also useful against such situations (community.f-secure.com/en/discussion/127802/how-to-block-specific-websites-on-android)

With your situation, I think currently can be enough to submit URL for analysis:

    Site faviconSubmit a sample | F‑Secure

    At least, with my devices ebban.fi is categorized as "Unknown yet" in Windows client;

Depends on which domain/subdomain is used when attempting to open a book - it may be different category.

Perhaps, F-Secure Labs can check their data about this domain and its content and to explain further what to expect about.

as it is labelled as 'scary'.

it may be about restricted category.

or maybe this webpage is rated as harmful/suspicious erroneously.

Is it possible to provide an example of blocked book URL? Or all of them are private / custom thing and better not to share URLs and things like that?

    Thanks!
