Latest Windows 10 and 11 cumulative updates breaking F-Secure SAFE, Internet Security and ID Protection - F-Secure Community

Latest Windows 10 and 11 cumulative updates breaking F-Secure SAFE, Internet Security and ID Protection
The latest Windows 10 and Windows 11 cumulative updates (KB5013942 and KB5013943) are causing issues with different types of software, and unfortunately F-Secure SAFE, F-Secure Internet Security and F-Secure ID Protection are affected as well.

The issue seems to be related to .NET Framework and affects the product user interfaces and banking protection.

Note: F-Secure SAFE and Internet Security will still protect you and your computer even though the user interface is not working.

The issue will be resolved as soon as Microsoft fixes the issue.

Since there is no official solution available yet, use the following workaround to fix the app crashes:

Open Windows Search.

Search for "Turn Windows features on or off" and select Open. The Windows Features dialog opens:

Disable and then enable all .NET Frameworks.

Click OK.

Restart your computer.

The apps should now work again.
