I have F-Secure password vault and my device broke or reinstalled, can I recover the passwords in any way? - F-Secure Community

We cannot recover those and if you haven't synchronized multiple devices, the passwords are lost. If you haven't saved the F-Secure password vault password database file the only way you can recover the passwords is by syncing them from another device.

Additionally on a Windows computer, if you still have access to the file system of your old computer you can copy the content of the folder:

C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\F-Secure\Pwmgr

... from the old to the new computer. Then when you open the F-Secure password vault again and use the previous master password you can unlock the database.

If none of the above is possible, then the password database is lost as we do not store it on our end for privacy reasons.

Article no: 000028600
