scheduled scanning stopped since update

The scheduled scanning has stopped working since the upgrade on 21st July

What do I need to do to re-start scheduled scanning?

    Hello,

    Sorry for my ask/reply.

    Do you able to re-check:

    --> F-Secure Main UI -- Settings;

    --> Scheduled Scan-tab and switch it to some of "certain" timestamp (two minutes later of current time);

    And re-check if Scheduled scan will launch;

    With other meanings:

    -- How you set up Scheduled scan (daily/weekly? certain time or idle?);

    -- Good to re-check that "Gaming Mode" is not enabled;

    Thanks!

    Hi

    Yes it ran

    But the report to show that it ran  is no longer produced

    It used to be this

    C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/F-Secure/apps/ComputerSecurity/Anti-Virus/FSAV_CMD.HTM

    but that has not been updated

    Where is the report now?

    Hello,

    With recent (?) F-Secure SAFE (17) -> temporary/original report probably still there;

    And also possible to re-check "Even lists" (rightclick for F-Secure tray picture and find related string; OR from Main UI -> Tools tab -> find related button) about any completed (or canceled/skipped) Scheduled scans;

    Where link to log-reports will be visible for completed (canceled) scheduled scans;

    C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Local\F-Secure\Antivirus\ScheduledScanReports\FSAV_CMD_certain-date-report.htm (as example);

    I able to think that maybe log-report 'blocked' on-the-fly and possible to get 'recent results' after completed state of scheduled scan;

    Did you re-check that Scheduled Scan is completed? Possible to use kind of workaround-check:

    -- trigger/launch Scheduled scan (as previously);

    -- after some minutes: right-click for tray-picture and choose "Gaming Mode"; Some seconds (or so) for "canceled" scheduled scan and uncheck "Gaming Mode";  You able to re-check related files or see information under "Recent events"; If there available any fresh logs;

    Sorry for my reply. I'm also only F-Secure user;

    Good if there will be official clarifications.

    Thanks!

    Hi

    I have just noticed what has changed

    They used to say something like this

    Scanning Report
    03 August 2015 20:43:47 - 23:05:06
    Computer name: NNNNNNN
    Scanning type: Full scan
    Target: C:\ D:\ G:\ + system + rootkits

    yet they now  do not list the drives to check

    only "full computer scan"

    the "target" line is no longer there

    This feature, to select which discs to scan has been lost in this upgrade

    Why?

    Hello,

    I'm also only F-Secure user; So... just as my own unofficial suggestions/feelings.

    yet they now do not list the drives to check

    only "full computer scan"

    the "target" line is no longer there

    Probably yes, but only for "Brief/Virus scan" and "Full Computer scan" (where will be certain type of scan);

    With meanings: "full computer scan" is all drives/advanced-scan; "virus scan" is only critical places for detecting active malware; And "scheduled scan" as full scan (with limitations/exceptions about some points)

    With "Context-scan": target-line still there;

    This feature, to select which discs to scan has been lost in this upgrade

    Why?

    If you do not talk about customization for Scheduled Scan/Full Scan as ability to choose certain drives/disks to be scanned:

    So -> I able to think that option to perform "Custom scan" is re-placed by meanings that it possible to use "Context scan" (by rightclick for file/folder/drive); Maybe this is not always useful... but with most of situations/reasons can be enough.

    What about official statement -> I'm not sure.

    Thanks!
