Cannot turn protection on or reinstall

I got the new update and i started updating and it got stuck for like 5mins on "updating". I closed the program and start it again. Now i cannot turn the protection on, when i push the button it doenst do anything. When i try to reinstall the software it just get stuck on "reinstalling". Im on laptop with Windows 10. With desktop and Win 10 i had no problem updating.

Could you tell us which version you currently are trying to install?

Could you try and contact our support here and provide an fsdiag so that we can investigate better the issue?
