When I reinstall F-Secure, will I keep my subscription?
I'm going to do a factory reset on my laptop which will delete every app. So, when I want to install back F-Secure, do I still keep my subscription or will it be gone?

Before factory reset you should release the device licence used from my.f-secure service and if your use id-protection make sure that your pw:s are at least on two devices,if not export them manually.
After succesfull reinstallation login in to my.f-secure.com again and reinstall F-Secure..it will use your free licence automatically.

It's part of Total Security. It will be shown on the main F-Secure app UI, as ID Monitoring and Password Vault.
So if you have Total, you can also back up your passwords to a USB drive, as you can then import them from there after your Windows/factory reset.

Do you have F-Secure installed on another app, and is it Total, where you will be able to sync your Vault from another device, or you can manually back up those passwords from that other device?
Again, if Total, did you import your passwords into the Total Vault from another app? If you didn't create any new passwords from that point on and you still have that file to re-import those back into F-Secure. If all else failed and you needed to do a fresh Windows install, you could do that and re-import those from there. Then you can release the license for the device in your F-Secure portal, and reinstall it from there.
If you just have Internet Security that does not include Identity Protection, especially the Password Vault, you can use the uninstall tool, or just do a Windows reset, as you will be able to release the license (if needed) from your portal and reinstall it from there.
You could also contact support and see what they have to say if you do not have any password back-ups. Scroll down the page a bit for the phone or Chat options.
