Hello @James1968
Thank you for providing this data.
The primary issue is your processor. The Snapdragon's central processing unit (CPU) uses the ARM architecture.
Follow this link for information on version 19.7 of the program and how to use it on devices with ARM processors: [Windows] What's new in the F-Secure app
Specifically, this part:
This is the reason why the VPN option does not appear in F-Secure on your device. However, this will change in the future.
Best regards.

Hello,
Sorry for the discussion.
Is running on Snapdragon(R) X 12-core X1E80100 @ 4.01 GHz 3.42 GHz
Per release notes (What's New in 19.7): [Windows] What's new in the F-Secure app
This version can now be installed on devices running the Windows on ARM64 operating system, providing expanded compatibility for ARM-based hardware
As I think mentioned "Snapdragon(R) X" is ARM-based, so you managed to install F-Secure Total on your laptop.
However, another part of its current version:
VPN is not yet supported on ARM64, but support will come in future versions
maybe is a reason for absence of Privacy VPN in your installation.
Apparently there is a need to wait a bit until the next release (or some kind of update) that will allow the use of VPN on ARM64 systems. I'm also just an F-Secure user, so I apologize if my understanding is not entirely accurate.
Thanks!

And after installing the final version of F-Secure total 19.7, the "release information" link does not provide anything about version 19.7, the last information is from version 19.6, so the lack of VPN support on ARM-based systems remains easily unrecognized
sorry for a bit of offtopic. @JOnes , are you referring to Settings place with "release information" and its direction to F-Secure website for more information about release? Or was it some kind of 'in-upgrade' prompt / window about release notes?
I tried today to install F-Secure TOTAL 19.7 on one device and from Settings (UI), I got a correct redirection to: https://www.kb.f-secure.com/s/article/What-s-new-in-the-F-Secure-app?language=en_US&utmid=app-release-notes
perhaps this may also depend on whether the installation is localized or not. I tried with generic English one.
otherwise, it is fixed already.
thanks!

The "missing release information" is at least in the Finnish localisation. The situation was the same when switching allready to version F-Secure Total 19.6, the release information of the updated version to which the link refers was missing, @firmy already assured that the issue will be fixed already in the next version, which will probably be 19.8,so "case closed" by now..
