    It would be nice that the PC version of ID-protection could use a fingerprint to log in (Windows hello) ๐Ÿ‘†๏ธ


    Most of the laptops are equipped with a fingerprint scanner so this would be quite a relevant feature. Also, many of your competitors offer this option. ๐Ÿ˜’

      Is there any update on this? It would be so much more usable if ID Protection would utilize Windows Hello authentication instead of requiring the keying of the Master Key! Particularly if someone goes all in and tries to keep it locked down.

      Thank you for your input.

      We have the biometrics feature almost ready for the Mac client but not yet released to production. There is no visible plan for the Windows client yet. However, it's essential to note that biometrics does not in any way replace the Master Password verification process. The only advantage is that after you have entered the Master Password, the biometrics temporarily replaces the Master Passwords for a short time frame but it's highly important not to forget your Master Password.

      Regarding Mac version, is this feature already available? At least my ID Protecion client on Mac does not offer that, nor does it inform any update availability.

      This feature isn't available yet for release. We will let you know once it is ready.

      This is feature that I recall first time requested 2019 (https://community.f-secure.com/en/discussion/121265/touch-id-for-macos-desktop-version-of-f-secure-key#latest).

      Would it be possible to have this feature, if not before 2023, then at least early 2023?
