    Release 18.1 beta 1 (build 40526)

    We are pleased to announce a new release of FS Protection for Mac. This update is now available for download from My FS Protection and delivery to existing installations starts today.

    Big changes to Browsing Protection feature:

    Main UI changes:

    • People & Devices view. You can now manage devices and settings right in the main UI without needing to navigate to web browser to access FS Protection web portal.
    • There is also an option now to install IDP (F-Secure Identity Protection client) client right from the main UI.

    DeepGuard:

    • Improvements of DeepGuard Configuration rule import for bundle handing
    • Introducing "Rule Reload" alert in the DeepGuard Configuration app
    • Fix constraint to be used when creating policies for "execute" events

    Other:

    • Improved handling for long pathnames for real-time protection feature
    • Stability improvement for the database update flow

    Known Issues:

    • There could be missing translations. THis will be addressed in the upcoming release.

    We are pleased to announce a new release of FS Protection for Mac. This update is now available for download from My FS Protection and delivery to existing installations starts today.


    Main UI changes:

    • Bug fixes to People & Devices view layout.
    • Fixes to switching user profiles.
    • Fixed crashes caused by submitting sample URL from main ui.

    IDP features:

    • Addition of IDP Monitoring feature. Users can now monitor for potential data breaches straight from the Main UI.
    • IDP and Passwords & Identity features not shown in child profiles.

    DeepGuard:

    • Read any path rules bugfix.

    • Minor UI fixes.
    • Security and stability improvements.

    Main UI changes:

    • Bug fixes to various UI dropdown components .
    • Some minor fixes to improve user experiences.

    DeepGuard:

    • Supported mount event for ES-based DeepGuard.
    • Performance improvements
    • DeepGuard rules related bug fixes

    We are pleased to announce a new release of FS Protection for Mac. This update is now available for download from My FS Protection and delivery to existing installations starts today.

    Main UI changes:

    • Added missing localizations
    • Adjusted Help drop down menu on macOS Catalina not to include an empty menu item
    • Adjusted main UI layout
    • Adjusted subscription nagging logic

    Browsing Protection:

    • Fixed a bug with incorrect block behavior for "Unknown" category
