Hello,
It possible do not shut down Freedome (a VPN-connection), but switch off only features like 'Browsing Protection or Tracking Protection" under main UI settings:
https://help.f-secure.com/product.html#home/freedome/multi-platform/en/concept_47DCDE2886EA4BF6BA14EDF28AF123E1-freedome-multi-platform-en
But -> does Freedome create any blockpages or something else? If not -> how 'Freedome' block it (any visible notification/counts/triggers)?
Maybe "tracking protection" create some specific setting as break proper flow - possible read such Knowledgebase-articles:
https://community.f-secure.com/t5/F-Secure/What-is-Tracking-Protection/ta-p/81921

https://community.f-secure.com/t5/F-Secure/Does-Freedome-intercept-tracking/ta-p/81932
As potential workaround (except 'switch off' certain feature as Tracking or Browsing Protection under Freedome settings; OR F-Secure SAS): HTTPS;
Thanks!
// if trouble is not based on tracking or browsing protection features; so -> maybe service restrict VPN-technologies under their terms (?!).
Hi egnurlaup,
Please have a look at this article on why you can't connect to a public Wi-Fi when Freedome is on.
