I try to connect to a public
Wi-Fi network. To ensure that I can safely use the network, I have F-Secure

two likely explanations why you are not able to connect to a public Wi-Fi when
Freedome is turned on:
VPN protocol is not
Wi-Fi requires a login
VPN protocol is not allowed:
The administrator of the
Wi-Fi network has configured the wireless network so that it does not allow VPN

Turn off Freedome.
Log into the public
Turn Freedome on again.
the time you have Freedome turned off, your communication is not protected.
