Freedome won't work on Ipad

Hi!

I have bought a multi-device subscription of Freedome vpn, and while it works fine on two computers (a Macbook and a PC - both via Wifi), I can't get it to work on an iPad (wifi only), with iOS 9.3.5.

I have surfed these forums and tried the usual solutions:

Restarting the iPad, reinstalling the Freedome app, removing and adding VPN configurations in the Freedome app, reseting the network settings on the iPad, and making sure that the router enables IPSec (strangely it was disabled and still my laptop had no problem with Freedome, and when I enabled it nothing changed with either the laptop or the iPad).

Sometimes when I try to turn Freedome on it searches for a really long time and then I get a message saying there is a problem with the VPN - "Negotiation with the VPN Server failed". Sometimes it switches to "ON" and everything looks right, but the internet does not work anyway.  It just tries to connect for a long time and then a message saying "Negotiation with the VPN Server failed".

    Hi Dallas81,

I see a similar error mentioned in this post. Apparently, this was due to the Modem and not related to Freedome.

May I know what is the model of your modem? Is it a Sagemcom or DNA modem? We have articles related to this here and here.
