I tried the 'forgot password' option numerous times, all without effect.
I contacted TalkTalk support twice. The first person I spoke to was useless. The second pointed out that I had not yet set up my SuperSafe Boost, which she did. That solved the problem.
It should be made clearer on the website that SuperSafe can only be installed if the boost is set up first.
