Freedome says protection ON, web services see my actual IP
Hello,
I installed Freedome to a fresh machine and I'm having a strange problem with it. Freedome seems to be working normally, I can connect and there are no error messages. The "traffic protected" counter increases as I use data. Almost all of the "what is my IP" sites however report my actual IP address. This includes a torrent test as well, so it is not just my browser that is "leaking" the IP. I also tried to connect to a HTTP server I own and the log also shows actual IP, so the IP isn't leaking through some WebRTC/other kind of plugin etc.
The sites that report my actual IP:
https://www.iplocation.net/find-ip-address
https://torguard.net/checkmytorrentipaddress.php
Sites that report the VPN IP:
http://ipduh.com/anonymity-check/
What could possibly be causing a situation like this?

This issue occurs at least with a default Firefox browser. The fix is to set the Firefox config parameter "media.peerconnection.enabled" from "True" to "False" using it's config editor.
