How can I generate a Freedome log file with my computer?

If you have technical problems with your product, you can create and send a log file (FSDIAG) to our technical support. The file contains information that can be used for troubleshooting and solving problems specific to your device.

For Windows

  1. Open the FREEDOME app.
  2. Click Help.
  3. Click About Freedome.
  4. Click 7 times on the version number. The Run support tool button is displayed at the bottom of the page.
  5. Click Run support tool. Enter your administrator credentials if prompted.
  6. Click Run diagnostics. The tool starts collecting information and the log file is (fsdiag.7z) saved on your desktop.
  7. Attach the fsdiag.7z file to your support request.

For Mac

  1. Open the FREEDOME app.
  2. Click Help.
  3. Click About Freedome.
  4. Click 7 times on the version number. The Run support tool button is displayed at the bottom of the page.
  5. Click Run support tool. Enter your administrator credentials if prompted. The tool starts collecting information and the log file (FreedomeSupportInfo.zip) is saved in your Documents folder.
  6. Attach the FreedomeSupportInfo.zip file to your support request.
