Freedome subscription unexpectedly expired on 2nd IOS device

I renewed my subscription for a year on my iPad after an initial month. My iPad subscription still works. But I thought this was supposed to work for other IOS devices under the same Apple ID. I installed on my new iPhone. But today it quit working with a 'expired subscription ' message. Did I misunderstand? Or how do I download from App Store such that Freedome operates on my 1 year renewal?

Sorry for the delay in the reply. As mentioned in the article here, you should be able to use your app store subscription on your iPhone as well. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the application on your iPhone and use the same app store subscription for validation? You can download the Freedome application from the Apple app store.
