banking protection is not working

hi all,

 

- internet security 2014 on win 7

 

today i just found out that banking protection is not working although it's turn on.

i've tried to access several internet banking site and there is no any pop-up of banking protection.

turn off & turn on banking protection setting is not help either.

 

 

ps : previously i just upgrade my java and restore it security prompts to let me connect to checkpoint ssl vpn .

 

 

any suggestion?

it suddenly working for hsbc.co.id and banksinarmas.com 

 

but https://ibank.klikbca.com is still not protected.

banking protection pop up is working but i sill can access other site(s) without any problem...

My suggestions are just guesses, but I would:

-- check for Windows Updates

-- check for F-Secure updates

-- try another browser

-- consider reinstalling F-Secure

-- if none of the above help, send in a support ticket, with an FSDIAG attached

When we start the banking session, it still allows access to sites you may need while you bank. However, these sites are verified by F-Secure. Good to know that the Banking Protection pops up for the website https://ibank.klikbca.com.

May be could you provide us more details as to what browser you use and what websites you try to open during the Banking Protection turn on.

Firefox 28.0

 

sites that accessible in banking session are

http://www.detik.com

http://www.kompas.com

 

are those news portals are verified sites so they still accessible in banking session?

Hi Makan,

 

The safety ratings depend on the ORSP ratings and it is by design that the Banking Protection will allow safe website.

 

These news portals are seen to be safe/trusted and that might be the reason they are allowed.
