VPN stuck in status "loading" no option to configure or activate

Hey Community / Support,

I am having a hard time to activate my VPN (F-Secure Total) whether it be Hydra, Wireguard or any other option after the update of MacOS to the latest version. I can't even reconfigure or install the VPN Adapters. In the past reloads somehow fixed this, currently this seems not work anymore. Before I reinstall the whole suite, please let me know if can some fix hack this with some CLI or other Options I yet don't know about.

Cheers

Rob

    Hello,

If you haven't tried reinstalling yet (which should probably help - at least, even this KB article ended up with such a routine), then maybe an alternative would be to try logging out and logging back into the app.

I mean, this functionality: Logging out of the app (before any steps - always good to be sure that all important stuff is backed up and saved somewhere else; Password Vault's content, some custom tweaks or whatever things; Which will be then possible easily to restore in case of some unexpected result).

It might also be worth checking if the inability to use a VPN is not related to a specific Network (ISP). For examples, if other devices are working good with VPN; or if your macOS device can establish VPN with another network (like another place or from mobile device's mobile data hotspot).

// still good if Support will dig into such a trouble. Sounds there is something to improve (if the trouble is pinned to the update of MacOS to the latest version)

    Thanks!
