This community supports only english and finnish,,,

It looks like your installation is broken which is very typical of F-Secure Total unfortunately,no tool to check status of installation+extensions presented yet..

Have you tried uninstalling the sofware with uninstall tool, then remove the old device licence from my.f-secure.com and then reinstall(also the extensions).Be aware also that if you use the id-protection you should have at least two devices using it or backup/export taken before uninstall.

    Hello,

Based on your description: I think you are facing a currently known trouble with Chromium-based browsers (like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome) that will be fixed as of the current view in the next release 25.5 (somewhere in early June, probably).

There are some examples of discussion about:

Sidenotes: the extension continues to function as usual (like fulfills its protective parts), and for example, in my experience, prompt is shown only when the browser is closed (as soon as it is opened, the status changes to normal and no actions are requested).

As it is mentioned in one of topics:

This is more visibile to Chrome users as Edge has by default "Startup boost" and "Continue running background extensions and apps when Microsoft Edge is closed" settings ON.

maybe, one of the temporary workarounds could be to use such options in your Google Chrome. Sounds as it will be less visible or annoying for Chrome users.

    Thanks!
