Camera/Microphone Protection Module?

Hello everyone!

I've noticed that many competing security products already include a camera and microphone protection module. This stands out because we all know F-Secure's strong commitment to privacy protection.

I would like to see the following features:

See which applications are attempting to access the camera/microphone
Receive notifications of access attempts
Decide for ourselves whether to allow access or not

A standby mode that activates when an application is closed

I strongly believe that F-Secure has considered these features. It would be interesting to hear thoughts from both other users and the product development team about this. Especially now that remote work and video conferences have become everyday occurrences, these protections feel more important than ever.

    just as a reference (another feature request on the related subject): Webcam / Microphone Protection Module, but it was closed as replicating some other one (I'm not sure which one), but still marked as noted. If when they consider this topic, then it will be possible to add "upvotes" from that too.
