Error code Extension ID-Protection Firefox

Hello, since the renewal of my F-Secure Totalsubscription, I can not activate the ID-protection extension inFirefox, I have the message incorrect code (see screenshot), Iuninstalled and reinstalled F-Secure Total but the problem persists.Could you help me please Thank you

Two points:

• ID Protection as a package is most likely no longer available (https://community.f-secure.com/en/discussion/127970/standalone-id-protection-reaching-end-of-life). Or it will be unavailable soon. Built-in Password Vault in F-Secure TOTAL app is a replacement and recommended solution.

Since you mentioned the F-Secure Total subscription, it is most likely no longer possible to use F-Secure Total (with its Password Vault), F-Secure ID Protection and the browser extension for it together.

Most likely, the browser extension will expect to function with F-Secure TOTAL's Password Vault. However, if F-Secure ID Protection were still used, there should have been some instructions and notifications about this within the software.

so, I will suppose that your experience is about F-Secure TOTAL's Password Vault and its browser addon.

• if the problem is only with Firefox, then your situation is probably similar to what is described here: Authorizing Password Manager on FireFox fails after update on 13.09.24 — F-Secure Community

one of the workaround methods is described there, although I don't know whether it will be applicable today.
