    Hello,

As for today - they are trying to collect / find a fix to this problem.

Main topic about at the moment is:

I would imagine that if there was already a solution (other than installing the latest version of the F-Secure app), it would be described somewhere in the KB pages: KB Articles

I didn't see anything on this topic there, so I should probably suggest to wait for help from the Community staff for now. Or if this presents a lot of problems for you at the current minute, then contact F-Secure support channels directly for up-to-date information (phone or web-chatting online) there: Get support for your F‑Secure products | F‑Secure (available in Contact Support section).

As a sidenote: I remember that once the Freedome (VPN) solution had a situation with increased battery consumption. More precisely, iOS defined any app's network usage as F-Secure activity when using a VPN. Since some applications consumed or began to do so excessively, the battery was consumed more, and the main consumer was the F-Secure app. Therefore it might be interesting to know - does your F-Secure app have VPN functionality? And if so, is it used when this problem occurs?

I also noticed that most of reports contained iOS 18 (18.0.1 and 18.1.1) - so I tried to search about iOS 18 and battery drain - there are some discussions, but I must say I don't know how common excessive battery drain is a problem (to suggest some changes in iOS18 that resulted in such an impact).

Sorry for my English and thanks.
