Hello,
Thanks for your response.
As of today 11/16, 2024 - I believe my iMac computer is Version 10.15.7 (19H2026) and can't be upgraded to F-Secure specs. And this stopped me today. Thank you for your input. Looks like of my 3 Apple pieces, I cannot use F-Secure on my iMac, which is my workhorse.
Yes, it looks like this.
As for today: system requirements for macOS are computers with macOS 15 (Sequoia); macOS 14 (Sonoma); macOS 13 (Ventura); macOS 12 (Monterey); also Intel and Apple Silicon processors are both supported.
Sounds that 10.15.7 is macOS 10 (Catalina). Probably this topic:
Installation Mac OSx 10.15.7 not working — F-Secure Community
describes something similar to your experience. only there was a certain freeze, and not a lack of online. I think that somewhere in the community there are other discussions about unsuccessful attempts to install on an unsupported version of macOS as well.
It’s unfortunate that it is no longer possible to install the F-Secure solution on your main machine.

Hello,
Are you talking about My F-Secure portal? Or let's say People and Devices feature? Where your installed devices are listed and whether you were online or something like that? And if so, the place where information about when was online the last time is placed?
Perhaps then you need to:
- have an active network connection on both devices (what should be "online"; and where you tried to see if it was "online").
- then it may take some time to update the information.
If we are talking about statistics, then you may need to use one or another functionality for it to accumulate.

this is no help
it's true, this is no help. sorry about that. and sorry for the late response.
so, could you explain the essence of your problem (surely it would have been extremely clear to the official representatives of F-Secure, but I couldn't figure out what exactly here is discussed). In particular, considering your second topic - where or why it is impossible to be "online" with F-Secure? Does the fact that it is said somewhere that you were not "online yet" add any problems? For example, it's impossible to use some functionality?
Or we are talking about F-Secure stating that there is no Internet connection. If so - all is fine with network as I suspect?
Or the trouble is around things like this:
Freedome kills internet conection? — F-Secure Community
for example, you tried to use F-Secure VPN and system claims that you are not online (like "no internet" there)? It could be due incompatible protocol (a workaround to try switch VPN Protocol in F-Secure Settings; for example, from OpenVPN to IKEv2) or browser's / system's settings concerning TLS 1.3 (https://www.kb.f-secure.com/s/article/Windows-MacOS-I-cannot-connect-to-the-internet-using-Edge-Chrome-or-Firefox-while-the-F-Secure-VPN-is-turned-ON?language=en_US)
Thanks!
