I also found it impossible to reduce the number of licenses at renewal. This is OBVIOUSLY a deliberate attempt by Cleverbridge to make this very difficult/impossible. If this is not made easier I will cancel my subscription and use a different virus checker. There are plenty of alternatives. Maybe I don't really need this at all on Windows 11 with Windows Defender

    so, if this is exactly the same trouble as before.. literally, so to speak, then contacting support will be the best solution. Either using a phone call or using the online web-chat option (just as a quick solution: https://www.f-secure.com/en/support) Another way is direct help from employees here within the community - you will need to get their attention then (just as a bit stress-free but longer solution).

    but apparently, the option to select the number of devices (increase or decrease) as well as the software options itself (include or exclude VPN, for example), as well as the validity period (a year or two, for example) should be available during the renewal process or subscription.

    if something goes wrong and such an option is not observed, then this is either some kind of subscription type limitation or a failure. In any case, the Customer Support should be able to provide assistance and resolve the trouble.

    I think it would also be desirable and more flexible that device licenses could also be reduced or different products could be purchased bundled or separately in connection with the renewal AS SELF-SERVICE instead of the help of F-Secure's support or Cleverbridge(phone calls,chat ,etc..) . Operation of a normal online store nowadays.At least for the time being, it is not in advance(eg. 30 days before expiring)possible on the my.f-secure.com portal.
