Why F-Secure app on macOS keeps popping up
Dear F-secure team,
The VPN keeps popping up every couple of minutes. FYI, I have already tried the following suggestion :
I did generate a detailed diagnostics report. It has been submitted. Moreover, concerning the version of the VPN, please find attached screenshot (vpnVersion.png) and macbook os version (MacOSVersion.png).
The following activities have been performed already:
Removal of the VPN,
Re-installation of the VPN.
Restarted the O.S.
Diagnostic report title submitted : F-Secure: 00475557 thread::toaKoEEAGeiU7j4474crzy8
It's annoyingly destructive popping up every minute. When force quitting the VPN. It's never closed. Always listed in force quit window.

Same problem on MacOS Sequoia 15.0.
Recommendation to uninstall the programme and not install it again is an insult to the customers. F-Secure is supposed to fix this and soon as of yesterday.
If not be sure that this info on your products, not recommendable on MacOS, will go viral on social media, and this is not the only problem with your VPN. You have to inactivate the VPN many times a day just to activate any webadress, and it sloooows down the computer. Easy to forget to activate again. No sign on the screen that VPN is on etc etc. the Freedome VPN was very good, reliable, fast but this version will damage your reputation. If not better in a month I'll not renew my subscription manually. Already stopped automatic renewal…

yes, I absolutely agree. The performance of the VPN is so bad, it drops many times aday.
The F-Secure freedome was way better. Let’s hope the company patches a hot fix. If it keeps continuing in annoying me, I would leave the 7 remaining months of the subscription. 🤞
I am already thinking about proton VPN.

Maybe the recent issue has to do with a mac update?
macOS Sequoia update "breaks" several cybersecurity tools (moonlock.com)
From the above link:
What services did macOS 15 “break”?
On September 16, Apple announced the release of what it called “the world’s most advanced desktop operating system.”
The highly anticipated macOS 15 Sequoia was well received and shined for its artificial intelligence integration. But just 2 days later, users, companies, and media reported major problems with security, browsers, and VPNs.
Specifically, the complaints say that the Apple software update “broke” CrowdStrike Falcon, Mullvad VPN, SentinelOne, and Microsoft services. It also caused problems for Chrome and Firefox browsers, as well as third-party VPNs, ESET software, Spotify, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and social media.

There are so many threads regarding this issue on the English side, as well as the Finnish side, that I thought I'd at least post it, just in case :)
On my Windows PC's and Android, no problems.
