    Yes please make normal beta feedback email describing situation bit more (e.g. which VPN protocols and locations are affected) and include fsdiag. We are going to have few VPN connecting related fixes in next beta but would like to see if your issue is one of those or something else. Thanks!

    Hallo : In my computer, Banking Protection is installed and works correctly in Firefox except with this bank : MedMerabank of Sweden . (https:∕∕medmerabank․se), Please, can you tell me how to do to see that BP is operational with this bank?

    Release 19.9 beta 6 (6.0.1288)

    Important: ARM64 updates have been frozen and if you reinstall ARM64, you will get previous release version (19.8). ARM64 will also show “Not supported” for any new version and refuse to update. This is temporary and ARM64 updates will be allowed again later in the spring.

    New features:

    • VPN tray icon animation for connecting state
    • VPN tray icon locations grouping and sorting

    Bug fixes:

    • Scan Wizard crash when Pause clicked for scan that is not yet started while Device Protection is still being installed (PBL-13909)
    • Possible crash when importing web sites into Websites exceptions (PBL-14041)
    • “Updates old“ smart tasks not created (PBL-14076)
    • File restored from quarantine cannot be deleted until after reboot (PBL-14166)
    • Better visibility of VPN tray icon when colorized taskbar is used (PBL-14084)
    • Fix for incorrectly changing location back to previous when turning on VPN via tray icon (PBL-14184)
    • VPN connected state change reporting broke until device restart after certain error scenarios (PBL-14045, PBL-13640, PBL-13990)
    • Various improvements to connection block logic during Banking Protection (PBL-14174)

    Known issues:

    • Password Vault has text alignment issues in some buttons

    So this is showing in my Edge tool bar. I didn't uninstall it. Though I did just have an update(unless that uninstalled it for some reason). But when I log into the F-Secure Beta account it shows ….

    How do I update or reinstall the F-Secure beta app? Or how do I get the latest version of the app to install? I'm really confused.

    I tried releasing the license & then reinstalling it. But when I click to open it, it says its already installed. But when I click "open", nothing happens.

    @Candi1 sometimes during update the browser native host loses connection and for some reason can't reconnect, so it shows that message. Restarting browser should fix it, try that before restarting the whole computer.

    Ok, I restarted again & this time it updated the F-Secure or FS protection program. But the app is still saying the same thing. ….

    @Ville I restarted my computer & it fixed the issue with the fs protection program. But the app in my edge browser is still saying the same thing. How do I update or install the latest version of the app? Thank you very much for all your help!!!

    @Candi1 could you please disable and then enable browser extension? Or if it is more easy remove it and install again. Do you have other browsers (Chrome, Firefox) to try out if it works there?

    I went into my extensions & I turn the extension off & then back on. Is that what you meant? That didn't do anything. I went into my extensions & removed the browsing protection. Then I installed it again. But its still saying the same thing, security application not found. I don't understand why it won't work. I don't use any other browsers. Just Edge.

    Ok sure. But could you please tell me how to do that or actually where to run the fsdiag again? Its been a while since I've had to do that. Or is that called the "support tool" in my account? Thank you!

    I've ran the support tool & got the fsdiag file. I sent that to beta@f-secure.com 4 or 5 days ago but I haven't heard anything back yet. Was this where I was supposed to send it?

    • VPN loading takes long time after update (PBL-14230)
    • VPN stays in loading state if related services not started at system startup (PBL-13996)
    • Fix for UI changing location back to previous when connecting VPN (PBL-14262)

    Hello,

    I decided to report it via email channel.

    I am not sure, but with both recent beta releases (25.2 beta 8 and 25.3 beta 1) - during a session, after an update - my system started to "glitch" a little.

    With the previous beta it was much more visible than now (with 25.3 beta 1) in a couple of hours. But I have a feeling that it is moving a little towards repeating that experience.

    With 25.2 beta 8 - I mishandled fsdiag and discarded the idea of report it (being unsure of reasons) later. With 25.3 beta 1 - I'll wait to see if it gets worse or not (if I will be able to do - then I, probably, will create a fsdiag and report it via email channel).

    Description of 'glitchy' state is: certain things and actions in the system become delayed, slowed down, or completely unresponsive. Hooked, I will say. My speculation can be that either 'Behavior' part or just Device Protection scanning things are somehow related to the impact.

    I do not remember how it started with previous beta, but with current one - I certainly feel that a kind of trigger was trying to context scan some folders (Scan Wizard shown after quite a delay). Then gradually one or another thing began to appear. Like while accessing to the folder with 'unloaded' previews; opening Task Manager with 'ten' minutes delay or even opening it with 'frozen' state, inability to scan something immediately and such stuff. Some things are just impossible to interact with (in previous beta: explorer.exe bar; ) Like if there is a queue with overcrowded entrance, but 'someone' got VIP access and goes through.. and 'someone' - not. And it's not very stable at all. That is, sometimes I can get a lot of examples, and then (after something gets fixed) it continues to be without problems.

    With 25.2 beta 8 - system restart was the easy fix and I did not encounter anything like that before current 25.3 beta 1.

    It is just.. interesting to know - if I am the only one with such experience after update from one beta to another beta release.

    Now I think that my experience is somehow around browser addons.
