Why do I now see F-Secure Plugin Hosting Service running?

I've subscribed to F-Secure VPN. I use another highly trusted vendor for all other protection. Since the recent change where F-Secure thought it necessary(?!) to drop the stand alone version of VPN, I'm now seeing the plugin hosting services (count them - 20 services running!!) in addition to the vpn service. This brings up a couple of questions on the reason F-Secure took this move, but it's their company and they are certainly welcome to reduce their customer base by a factor of 1… i.e., me, as they wish. The question remains…. what affects will the plugin hosting service have on my existing Malwarebytes protection? Will having these 20(!!) newly added services have any conflict with any other anti-malware installations? Nothing in previous documentation sent out about this move from F-Secure addresses this issue, as far as I can tell. Any advice would be helpful.
