Hello F-Secure Community,

We've recently received a report regarding an issue with activating the Safari Browser extension on iOS 17.4.1. A customer has reported that after clicking on "set up" in the F-Secure app and following the on-screen instructions, they are unable to proceed past the point where they need to "Tap Safe Browsing Extension to enable the extension." The button appears greyed out and cannot be activated.

Solution:

After investigating the issue, we've found that disabling "Content and Privacy Restrictions" under Screentime temporarily resolves the issue, allowing users to enable the extension.

For detailed steps on how to disable "Content and Privacy Restrictions," you can refer to this Apple Discussions link.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience. If you encounter similar issues or have further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to assist you.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
