Hi,

how do I mass delete all existing Password Vault passwords on Windows?

NOTE: uninstall is here not a solution as I have the password vault on many devices!

BTW: To manage hundreds of passwords is not efficient when I cannot export passwords to any other format.

To remove the user data of F-Secure ID Protection from your Windows computer, you can use our Uninstallation tool. We do not allow exporting passwords as plain text for security reasons. This is because passwords are sensitive information that should be kept confidential and not shared with anyone.

However, we suggests a workaround if you need to export the passwords for backup or other purposes. You can export the password database as an encrypted .fsk file, which can be stored securely on their device or cloud storage. The .fsk file can only be decrypted using the master password set by the user during the setup of the app.

Thanks, but...your support for people using multiple devices is very low and I cannot recommend. it. The tool is just elementary.

Importing passwords happens usually from plain text, so the explanation you give for that is pretty empty.

I'm one of the people choosing f-secure because expect to get one package that helps me manage security from all aspects. This not happening. Have to look for alternatives. First password manager and then the rest.
