Could it be that you upgraded from the old F-Secure Internet Security to the new F-Secure Internet Security (previously known as F-Secure SAFE)? While renewing.
if so, there is KB: Upgrading from F-Secure Internet Security to F-Secure Total - F-Secure Community; can you see if something is not possible to follow?
If it was 'upgrade'; and 'subscription code'-request is in the My F-Secure portal. So, for example, upgrade to F-Secure TOTAL. There is KB: How to upgrade F-Secure Internet Security (old SAFE) to F-Secure TOTAL - F-Secure Community

I have renewed my subscription and as I understand it should be all fine. But F-secure still ask me to type in my subscription code. I have tried to find it in the confirmation mail. Do I need it? Where do i find it?
But as such, it is good to know - what is your F-Secure solution? There are some topics in community about troubles with "subscription code" and "misunderstanding with conformation mails" - but need to know is it about F-Secure Internet Security or F-Secure VPN or F-Secure ID Protection, for example. Otherwise, it will not be entirely accurate to try to find a match with your situation.
As a sure shot step: you can contact their official Support Channels (Contact support | F-Secure), for example, web-chat is available in the right bottom widget.
Support Agents can easily deal with your trouble and situation regarding the account or subscriptions.
