Excluding folders

Hello

Within the 'App and file control' settings window of F-Secure SAFE, if I exclude a folder containing an application's exe file, is that exe treated as an excluded application by DeepGuard?

Or do I need to explicitly add the exe file to the excluded list?

To put the question another way, is the ~entire~ contents of an excluded ~folder~ excluded from both DeepGuard application monitoring and virus scanning?

Adding a folder to exclusions will exclude everything under that folder, files and subfolders from both Real-time scanning and DeepGuard.

This posting was to do with files rather than executables.

I'm still not sure if executables need to be added explicitly, or whether adding the folder in which they reside is sufficient?
