No credential options available on any login form

Recently the Firefox Browser Extension stopped working properly: When I try to auto-fill my login credential, the extension only displays a grey blank box instead of a list of available credentials. This happens on all sites I try to log in to even though they all previously worked fine. I've repaired ID PROTECTION installation as well as re-installed my browser extension to no avail.
What to do to make it work again? It's cumbersome and risky to manually copy and paste passwords from the application itself.

The issue should now be fixed - the Firefox extension 5.0.25 is now in production and the fix works.

Hello @ferçen and welcome to F-Secure Community!
I can confirm that the issue with F-Secure ID Protection browser autofill passwords drop-down list menu in Mozilla Firefox on Windows devices is being currently investigated internally.
I will keep you updated in this post.
In the meantime, you can try using another browser that is being supported. Please check this help page.
Cheers,
Lucas
Exactly same happened to me also after firefox was updated to 82.0(64bit win 10).I got it working once after reinstalling the extension (which is not so straightforward operation btw). After that only grayed blank box in autofill..
Hi @JOnes
Yes, I do confirm that it's Firefox 82.0 that's problematic.
Should I have any update on that, I will keep you informed.

Lucas

Hello,
I have this same problem with firefox, please do inform us when you find solution this issue it is very annoying.
Hi,
I have exactly the same problem with Firefox. ID Protection works perfectly with Chrome.
I also have the same issue, been going on for a while now. Just received updates to the extension (now version 5.0.17) and Firefox (83.0.3).
Same issue with macOS version of Firefox 83.0.3 (64bit).
It's quite sad that F-Secure can not get ID Protections to work ok on computers (issues with general usability, and now this quite long standing issue with login auto-fill), as it has smooth cross-platform sync by default.
Firefox version 83.0 and extension version 5.0.25 works on Mac side also 👍️ Had to manually update the extension.
Just add the touch-id support and it would be good 😃
I have the same problem intermittently with ID 5.0 and Firefox 85
Hi,
Also, system autofill functionality no longer works (Firefox 85.0.1, Windows 10 Pro 64bit).
System autofill seems to work ok with Edge, but fails also with Chrome at the same system. Both browsers running latest version.
Dear @martink and @K_P
Thank you guys for your input.
I do confirm that this issue is being investigated right now.
I will inform you about the progress in this thread.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Cheers,
Lucas
Hello, world! I may be experiencing the same issue K_P has, but not sure if it's exactly the same.
When using the ID Protection autofill add-on in both Firefox and Chrome, the autofill says "No matching entries". I noticed this by accident, but it hasn't been an issue before, so it should be from one of the latest updates to the software.
I found that a solution was to add "https://" to all the links inside of ID Protection for Windows, but I'd rather not have to go through all my entries and edit these. Is a possible solution here, for the next update, to automatically add "https://" to all links automatically? It doesn't make sense for end customers having to add "https://" when entering a web address - it's not customer friendly.
See attached picture for explanation.
Hope this can be resolved soon. :)
Apparently the functionality of previous version will be reverted in next version, so you don't need to add https:// or http:// prefixes to URLs. There is no info on when this will happen, so it might be a few weeks or a few months.
