iOS battery drain

Hello,

 

I'm on the final day or two of my free trial of F-Secure's Freedome VPN service on my iPhone 6s Plus, running ios 11.2.6 (latest version).

 

I'm noticing that, since installing, that my battery life has dropped by at least 60-75%!  And when I go into Settings>Battery, f-secure isn't listed, yet the VPN is clearly active. 

 

What, if anything, can I do to stop the battery drain, but still have active VPN security on my phone?

Thanks for interest in Freedome!

Some facts:
- Freedome is using more battery
- I don't know about iOS, but in Android-smartphone there is settings > battery > Freedome-app + other apps.
- your last question: Freedome has to be going on all the time. It is not possible to eat the cake and save the cake. As an old anecdote notes.
You will get many advantages when using Freedome.
