Issue:
I cannot select "OK" to approve F-Secure FREEDOME VPN connection request on my Android device.
Resolution:
When F-Secure FREEDOME attempts to create a VPN connection for the first time, you will get a dialog where FREEDOME asks for your permission to intercept all network traffic. This may also appear after your device has been rebooted or the FREEDOME application is restarted.
To allow FREEDOME to work:
- Select I trust this application
- Tap OK
If you are unable select the I trust this application checkbox, there might be another app masking on top of the dialog. Some known apps that can cause this are Lux Brightness, Night Mode, and Twilight.
To avoid this issue, close all apps that may be running in the background and try clicking the checkbox.
