Compatibility with Cloudflare 1.1.1.1

Cloudflare states that other VPN's will not work when their 1.1.1.1 app is enabled (at least on Android). Are there plans or work underway to make Freedome compatible with the 1.1.1.1 service or do you consider it redundant?

Re: Compatibility with Cloudflare 1.1.1.1

Hello GeorgeG,

The 1.1.1.1 app is implemented as a pseudo-VPN client; it looks like a VPN client to the Android operating system, but it only forwards DNS requests to 1.1.1.1 without actually doing a VPN or routing other non-DNS traffic to a server like a VPN would. On Android and iOS, you can only have a single VPN active at a time, so that's why the 1.1.1.1 app won't work with an actual VPN client.

There are no plans to support 1.1.1.1 service at this time. For maximum privacy, Freedome users use a DNS server which resides on the VPN gateway.
