What is App Control?

App Control is a feature that is part of the Family Rules functionality in F-Secure SAFE. App Control is currently only available for F-Secure SAFE for Android. The App Control feature is enabled as part of the Family Rules set up wizard on a child's Android installation.

The feature allows you to manage app access within your child's Android device. You can view all installed apps remotely via your My F-Secure portal and choose whether the apps should be time-limited, allowed or blocked completely.

There is also a possibility to select a default behaviour for newly installed apps. This allows your child to install new apps, but the use is always restricted - you can either block (until you authorize the use) or apply time limits to these newly installed apps.
