Upgrading from F-Secure Internet Security to F-Secure Total Your F-Secure Internet Security purchased before February 14, 2023, can no longer be renewed. For more information, see the following article: F-Secure Internet Security and F-Secure Anti-Virus reaching end of sales.
When it's time for you to renew your subscription, you will be guided to upgrade to F-Secure Total for the same price as Internet Security. During the renewal process you will be guided to the My F-Secure page where you must create your F-Secure account to be able to start installing F-Secure Total on your devices.
Once your Internet Security subscription is about to expire, the product starts reminding you about it on the product's main view. You will also receive reminder emails about the expiring subscription.
The following video shows you how to upgrade from F-Secure Internet Security to F-Secure Total:

To upgrade from F-Secure Internet Security (or F-Secure Anti-Virus) to F-Secure Total:
- On the product's main view or in the reminder email, select the option to renew your subscription. The Renew your F-Secure Internet Security page with special discount opens.
- Scroll down to the subscription options, choose the one that suits best your needs and select Buy now. The shopping cart opens. The shopping cart is handled by our trusted eCommerce partner cleverbridge.
- On theOrder information page, do the following:
- Select whether or not you'd like to renew your expiring subscription automatically.
- Enter your email address, first and last name, ZIP or postal code, and country. Make sure that you enter your email address correctly, as this address is used as part of your login credentials.
- Select your preferred payment method and fill in the necessary details.
- Select Next.
- On the Confirm order page, check your order details, and select Buy now. Your order is processed and your order reference number appears on the Done page. You will also receive an order confirmation email from our trusted eCommerce partner cleverbridge.
- Once your purchase is complete, select Create an account. The account creation page with your pre-completed details is displayed.
- Check the information, create a strong password or passphrase, and select Accept and create account. My F-Secure opens.
Note: By pressing the Accept and create account button, you agree to F-Secure End User License Terms.
- To complete your account creation, open your email inbox and in the Activate your F-Secure account now email, select the link to confirm your email address for your account. You will also receive a "Get started with F-Secure" email with instructions for installing the F-Secure app.
- Back on the My F-Secure service, start installing F-Secure Total on your current device by selecting Add device. You can find detailed instructions on how to protect your first device in the following help articles:
You can now start installing F-Secure Total on your other devices. You can also add more users and devices to your My F-Secure group by sending the product installation link to the user's device by email or by an SMS message.
