Issue:
How do I share my F-Secure SAFE subscription with a friend or family member so that they can install F-Secure SAFE using my licenses? How do I add them as a sub user on My F-Secure account?
Resolution:
You can share your subscription with a friend or family member by inviting them into your My F-Secure group. This allows them to protect their devices using your available licenses.
- Log in to My F-Secure with your account username and password
- Once logged in, click Add device. The Whose device do you want to protect? window will appear
- Select Someone else's device, and click Continue. The Invite a person window will appear
- Fill in the friend or family member's name and email address in the relevant fields, and click Send invitation. The person you add will receive an invitation email that allows them to set up their My F-Secure sub account.
Once the My F-Secure sub account has been set up, they friend or family member can log in with their email address and password.
Note: If the sub-user does not remember their password, they can have it reset by clicking on the Forgot your password link then type in their email address. The reset password link would be sent to the email address. For more information on how to reset My F-Secure account password please click here.
