Issue:
I had a free trial version of F-Secure SAFE. The trial subscription time ended and now after every computer start up, it get a notification asking me to renew my subscription. How to get rid of the notification?
Resolution:
The notification cannot be removed as it's automated to alert about the expired virus protection. If you do not want to buy a renewal subscription for the product, you can get rid of the notification by removing the F-Secure SAFE program from your computer.
On a Windows computer, you can remove the program using the Windows Apps and features functionality.
On a Mac OSX computer, follow these steps:
- Open Finder
- Go to Applications
- Open the F-Secure folder
- Run the Remove F-Secure application
