f-secure anti virus

Hi i have installed mcafee but fed up with its resource utilization. It takes me about 10-12 minutes to get control on my laptop desktop after log in but with very slow response. when i open task manager, i observe that mcshield service is taking highest memory resources and CPU time. I am fedup with the slow response of the system so i wana learn about f-secure antivirus software? how much memory resources are utilized and what impact does it make on the performance of the system?
