Freedom blocks safari

in F-Secure VPN

Since a few days it is not possible to open a website with freedom switched on.

When i try to open a Website in Firefox everything works fine.

When Freedom is off Safari works. I have to switch the wlan serveral times on and off to  open websites in safari as long as freedom is on.

any ideas ?

 

I use freedom on a mac book pro with macos sierra

    It sounds like you might have some extension or something which tries to access something we block as a tracker or as a harmful site.

    The extension would therefore prevent Safari from starting.  Could you try to disable extensions in Safari and retry?

     

    Also can you try to turn off the tracking protection feature only in Freedome and see how it goes with safari?

    I dont have any extension working in safari.

    If tracking protection is switched off it seems to work better. When i switch it on angain there are obviously some websites who work and some not.

    But the Problem is still only with safari. Firefox is working fine.
