Win 10 unable to connect to internet when Freedome is ON

Your computer is trying to use a DNS server that is incorrect or doesn’t exist. - message from windows diagnostics

For the last couple of days, I've had the above issue when Freedome is On. running Win 10

Switching off fredome enables the connection to work again.

Have made no changes to PC in that time other than normal AV updates.

The adaptor is working fine, switching to another country has no effect.

Any thoughts?

Update: I've just uninstalled and reinstalled Freedome, same issue still exists.

Now working. no immediate idea why. Rebooted a number of times - removed wifi adaptor & toggled firewall settings. Now appears ok.
